Nautilocalyx picturatus (RARE)

Nautilocalyx picturatus is a plant belonging to the Gesneriaceae family, native to the rainforests of Central and South America, in particular the tropical regions of Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru. It is a highly prized ornamental plant for its colorful flowers and interesting foliage.

The leaves of Nautilocalyx picturatus are oval in shape and are characterized by a dark green color, with lighter streaks. The plant tends to grow compactly, up to about 30-40 centimeters in height.

The flowers of Nautilocalyx picturatus are particularly distinctive and attractive. They are tubular, white and develop from the base of the leaves.

It requires well-drained soil and bright indirect light to grow healthy and prosperous. It is a relatively easy plant to grow and can add an exotic and colorful touch to any indoor setting. However, because it is a tropical plant, it requires a warm, humid environment to thrive, making it perfect for terrariums.
